Xiaoti Fuszenecker (Viola, Mentor)
With her talent and the passion for music, Xiaoti Guo was awarded a full scholarship by the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, National University of Singapore where she studied viola under Zhang Manchin, Head of Viola Studies, for her "Bachelor of Music" degree and she also received the full tuition scholarship from the Indiana University, where she studied with Stephen Wyrczynski. In Spain she studied with Nobuko Imai at the Reina Sofia School of Music and finally she obtained her Masters Degree with Ingrid Zur at the Hochschule fur Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.
With the pursuit of music and interests in viola, Xiaoti has actively participated in masterclasses with James Dunham, Yoshiko Kawamoto, Toby Appel, C.J.Chang, David Takeno, Li Honggang of ‘Shanghai Quartet', Sheng Li, Wang Shaowu, Kin Fung Leung and Jay Liu. Xiaoti actively participated in conducting masterclasses with John Nelson, Claus Peter Flor and chamber masterclasses with Takacs Quartet, Australian String Quartet, Quatuor Manfred and Shanghai String Quartet.
Xiaoti has participated in many music festivals such as the Texas Music Festival in the USA , the Great Mountains Music Festival in South Korea, the Aspen Music Festival and School(Assistant
Principal Viola position of Aspen Festival Orchestra for the whole session), the Ozawa International Chamber Festival where she received the wonderful opportunity to play in the Chamber
Orchestra with Seiji Ozawa. She has performed with several professional orchestras such as Aspen Festival Orchestra, Yong Siew Toh Conservatory Orchestra, Singapore Symphony Orchestra and
Konzerthaus Berlin.
She currently holds a position in the Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland Pfalz (Ludwigshafen).
As a viola soloist, she performed with the Chamber Singers. She also performed with the Singapore National Youth Orchestra in “Musical Synergy” 2012.
